i dont care about graphics, Halo Reach will continue to deliver the signature Halo gameplay that ive fallen in love with over the past 8 years. That all God of War has over Halo, graphics. Other than that, it doesnt really have much over Halo.
Not that you could truly compare a beat-em up to a FPS, but i love Halo more than GoW, so i know what game i'll be looking forward to all year.
So the 360 using multiple discs is outdated, last gen tech according to many of you, but the PS3 having no backwards compatibility isnt? So having to swap between discs every now and then is a huge issue, but not being able to play your beloved older games on your shiny new console is no biggie right?
Ive fallen madly in love with this site.
i dont care, im sick of reading these stupid lists. Ive played my games, hyped or not, and loved most, so im not reading these top over hyped lists anymore, they are written because some strange person has way too much time on their hands.
Hyped or not, i loved GTA4 and Halo 3, i enjoyed MW2 as well. I dont have to think they are the best ever, but i did enjoy them and the fact that they were hyped makes no difference, i just dont care anymore.
Rare is suffering from what so many other formerly amazing developers suffer from in the current gen of 360 and PS3, which is the inability to adapt to the longer development cycles, increased budgets, and more advanced technology.
I, along with millions of others, have enjoyed dozens and dozens of amazing Original Xbox and Xbox 360 exclusive titles over the years. Its Rare's own fault, not MS, despite what your imagination tells you.
you people do realize that MS paying a studio for a game is the dame thing Sony does right?
You honestly think that a game dev studio, that is comprised of hundreds of people with families and bills to pay, would actually CHOOSE to develop an exclusive for the PS3, which would then screw themselves out of hundreds of thousands of copies that 360 owners would buy if it were a multiplatform game?
Devs dont choose a console to make a game for based on loyalty, making ...
sh!t ton of glitches? Name three and i promise i will not post in this article anymore. Almost no game ships without glitches or hiccups that require a patch, your just sour because Modern Warfare 2 is popular.
Idiots who cheat should be banned. Like Skv said, cheat in the NFL/Olympics/NBA/NHL/etc,etc,e tc, you get banned. Life lesson learned.
Halo 3 actually had a very strong story, but most of you know nothing of the Halo backstory, details, or lore, meaning you didnt understand it hardly at all, so your next course of action is to bash it because you do not understand =). Its a brilliant story for those who pay close attention to detail.
it wont be a controversy until the game is released and the media sees a couple screenshots of people in a desert, then it will be all over Fox and CNN as being "disrespectful" or "shameful" or something else.
kinda like the media claiming Mass Effect was a space porno even though there were only two sex scenes that were very short and you saw no full frontal nudity at all.
nice, they must stuffed a lot of content into the game since its 2 discs now, cant wait for this game it will be epic.
some of you act like MW2 is the only game in existence to have glitches, and its a horrible game because of it. Most games ship with glitches or problems that require patches, get realistic people.
these articles try to make me feel like ive had the most horrible experience of my life the past 4 years, that i simply didnt enjoy dozens of great games because i opted for a 360. funny how i never tell nor do i think PS3 owners have a bad experience, but for some reason many feel the need to tell me i was never actually having fun with my games.
i dont feel the need to identify myself as straight on XBL, why do homosexuals feel they need to identify themselves as such?
to be fair, Hideo Kojima has not worked on anything significant outside of Metal Gear Solid for many years, so anyone bashing Bungie for sticking with Halo would be a bit out of line.
Halo 3 has the robust and expanded multiplayer features of any game on any console. It had a superb story that can only be understood if you know a lot about Halo lore, and anyone who doesnt understand what is going on shuns it and rejects it. It was an amazing purchase that squeezed out every penny of the 60 dollars that was spent on the game. But because its super popular, it is faulted. nice, i love this place.
i like all the innovation with these new motion control things, but to me you cant beat a good controller. if microsoft goes full motion control, im jumping ship for something else.
normally id be excited, but i cant help but to think it will be something stupid like "Lego Star Wars 3: In Search of Bricks" or "Star Wars Republic Heroes 2: Dont you like Star Wars Kiddie Games??"
I would loooooooooooove a battlefront 3 myself, or even more, Kights of the Old Republic 3. Something to give the hardcore star wars fans what the want.
PSN a better community? Sure! If you can find enough people with a third party mic that is.
I dont know about you guys, but i would much rather play with people that arent pixel counters or 30 year olds that still play games on PSN when they should be doing something for their wife. I cant even imagine enjoying MW2 multiplayer with one of the bastards on this retarded website that bash MW2 for having a 600p resolution, and you'll find most of those people on PSN, not XBL. XBL is ...
OXM also gives bad reviews to plenty of 360 games, but fanboys still call OXM bias towards 360. See what i did there.
Yea well most devs cant even make a single player experience that can even touch Half Life 2 and its episodes, so Valve can pretty much say what they want. Also Valve wants to make games for 360 just cause they can and if that fails, they can just go pack to strictly PC games that look better than PS3 and 360. They win, everyone else who cries about it loses.
Halo Reach will be hard to knock off. After seeing what bungie accomplished with Halo 3's robust and hugely expanded multiplayer features, its a compelling to think what they will do with Reach. nNot to mention i love Halo's story. Peter Jackson fell in love with Halo's story, thats gotta prove something.
